More new Canon! The R8 and R50
Canon have just announced two new cameras. Firstly, the R8, a very similar camera to the RP with big improvements to many aspects including the autofocus system, sensor, processor and video specs. Also, the R50 which creates a new entry point for beginners to the EOS R system. Canon have also released two all new lenses, the RF 24-50mm f4.5-6.3 IS STM, compact and perfect for travel and general photography and the RF-S 55-210mm f5-7.1 IS STM which is a perfect partner to the RF 18-45mm and makes a great option for travel, sport, and pets.

The full-frame EOS R8 will help enthusiasts and students make the leap to full-frame. This is an affordable, high-performance hybrid mirrorless camera and at just 461g it is Canon’s lightest ever full-frame mirrorless camera.
It is similar in its body design to the EOS RP but out-classes it in performance with a new sensor and processor, borrowed from the EOS R6 mark II. This gives the R8 very powerful abilities, including the new Dual Pixel CMOS AF II in which deep-learning AI delivers even more powerful autofocus.
