Which vlogging camera is best for beginners?

To answer this we need to consider what elements are important for vlogging.  As a beginner vlogger on a budget you will no doubt be recording yourself whilst talking to camera so it will be vital to have a fully articulating screen.  Also really important is in-built image stabilisation, good video capabilities, great autofocus, microphone input, and possibly livestreaming capabilities. How can I start vlogging?

1. Do your research - watch poplular vloggers to see what style you like and how you would like your topic to come across.  Watch some how-to vlog tutorials to get useful hints and tips.

2. Choose your topic - chances are that you already have an idea of what you want to vlog about, whether it's your day to day life, travel adventures, photography tips, cooking, beauty tips or sports.  If you can find a niche, something which really excites you, this will help you to build an audience. 

3. Choosing the right kit - more on this below but you want to make sure that the quality of the content you create is watchable.  This means having decent sound quality as well as a clear picture. 

4. Film your content - have a loose script before you start but allow yourself to ad lib a bit as you go. This is definitely the most daunting bit but, as you practice, you will become more relaxed in front of the camera.

5. Edit your content - you can use a free app like CapCut or a paid service like Adobe rush.  Adding suitable music in the background and fades in between the cuts will add interest if done well. Remember that being consistent with your content, uploading a video every few days, will help to grow your followers.  

What every vlogger needs?

1. First things first, you will definitely need a camera.  You might want to choose something that is designed especially for vlogging, like the awesome Canon V10, or something that is a great all rounder for stills as well as video, like the Fujifilm X-S20, which will let you record in full-format at the same time as 16:9 so you can record for YouTube and also share to TikTok, Instagram stories or YouTube shorts at the same time.

2. Lenses - depending on which camera you go for, you may need to consider lenses as well.  Generally for vlogging it will make sense to have one all-round wide-angle lens. Sigma lenses are a great third party alternative and are available for most of the main brands of camera.

5.
