Fujifilm XF16-55MM F2.8 LM WR II lens 

This MkII version lens is significantly smaller and lighter than the original XF 16-55mm.

The design features 16 elements in 11 groups, including four aspheric elements, three ED lenses and one Super ED element, to help minimize chromatic aberration.

Optical Design

Its optical design comprises aspherical elements, extra-low dispersion elements, and a super extra-low dispersion element, all of which help to reduce distortion and colour fringing for improved sharpness and colour accuracy throughout the zoom range. A fluorine coating has also been applied to protect the front element by repelling water, oil, and fingerprints.

Three extra-low dispersion elements and a Super ED element are used to greatly reduce colour fringing and chromatic aberrations in order to produce high clarity and colour fidelity throughout the zoom range.

Four aspherical elements control distortion and spherical aberrations, which helps to improve sharpness and realize more accurate rendering.

Quiet Autofocus

A Linear Motor autofocus system delivers smooth, near-silent performance that is now faster and more accurate, which is especially beneficial to video applications and when working in noise-sensitive areas.

Focus wobble and subject searching is also minimized for clarity during important takes.

The de-clickable aperture ring allows for quiet and precise control of the lens during video recording.

Rounded 11-blade diaphragm delivers smoother, more rounded bokeh to add a pleasing out-of-focus quality to selective focus and shallow depth of field techniques.

Weather-Resistant Design

The lens body incorporates extensive weather sealing to protect against dust and moisture, enabling worry-free use in inclement conditions and freezing temperatures as low as 14°F.
