Full-frame Sensor with Dual Native ISO Technology
The LUMIX S1H has a 24.2-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor featuring Dual Native ISO technology, resulting in minimal noise and outstanding image quality across the ISO range.
Combined with the Venus Engine delivers a maximum ISO 51200 / Extended ISO 204800 for a cleaner image at higher sensitivities and a beautiful rendition of dark areas in the frame. In addition, the low-pass filter helps minimise moiré. Whenever low-light shooting is required, the S1H is ready for action.
Wide Range of Recording Formats to Support Every Type of Shoot
With its full range of recording modes, the LUMIX S1H has every industry covered, from cinema to TV broadcasting.
In addition to C4K/4K 60p/50p (In Super 35mm and PIXEL/PIXEL settings) 4:2:0 10-bit and C4K/4K 30p/25p/24p 4:2:2 10-bit, the camera newly offers 6K/24p 4:2:0 10-bit in 3:2 and 5.9K 30p/25p/24p 4:2:0 10-bit in 16:9. Anamorphic mode in 4K is also available. Ultra-high image quality, flexibility, and expressiveness — the LUMIX S1H is ready for today’s demanding shoots.
4:2:2 10-bit Internal Rec / HDMI Output
Featuring an incredibly rich color profile, C4K/4K 30p/25p/24p 4:2:2 10-bit video is recordable in-camera. In the 10-bit setting, 4:2:2 10-bit HDMI output is supported along with simultaneous external drive / SD card recording. Leveraging the expressive power of a full-frame camera takes 4K video to exciting new places.
Tilt and Free-Angle Rear Monitor
The tilt and free-angle rear monitor leverages the convenience of both a tilt monitor and a free-angle monitor. Even with an HDMI or USB cable attached to the camera, the monitor can move freely. Moreover, the large status LCD presents optimized information about both still photographs and videos, providing easy access to time codes, the audio level meter, and more.
14+ stops of V-Log and V-Gamut “VariCam Look”
V-Log and V-Gamut come preinstalled. With 14+ stops of dynamic range and a wide color spectrum, performance rivals that of a VariCam professional cinema camera.
Heat Management = Unlimited Recording
A cooling fan supports unlimited video recording. The dust- and splash-resistant design, low vibrations for minimal effect on the image stabilization system, and ultra-quiet performance are other features that complement this new structure.
Tough Body for a Wide Range of Weather Conditions
The magnesium alloy full die-cast frame is highly durable, while sealing helps protect every seam, dial, and button. The camera as a whole is dust- and splash-resistant* and designed for use at temperatures as low as -10 °C.
