Terry Donnelly – 12.15pm-12.45pm
Seminar Title: Using photography to highlight species decline of the Red Squirrel
Terry Donnelly spent many years observing Red Squirrels living rurally close to his home, and gaining their trust to come into conducent areas in his garden. The Red Squirrels engaged with cars, musical instruments and even an obstacle course, with the resulting pictures being shown on national TV, featuring in national newspapers, and attracted a letter from HRH King Charles.
In this presentation, Terry will share with you the process he used to capture the images, which is relevant to all wildlife photography, and also behind the scenes photographs of setups.
The resulting photographs have reached far and wide promoting the importance of Red Squirrel conservation and species decline in England.
