"These adapters are a work of genius. They make swapping from Canon DSLR cameras to the mirrorless R bodies so much easier and allow you to avoid the massive cliff-edge that changing complete systems represents. Apart from being convenient, the adapters are incredibly well made. They allow you to shoot with familiar lenses when you are already having to work that little bit harder to use unfamiliar bodies.
