Celestron USB Cooling Fan for Dobsonian Telescopes

Keep your StarSense Explorer 10-inch and 8-inch Telescope cool with this USB Cooling Fan. By using this fan you can bring the primary mirror of the Dobsonian telescope to the ambient outdoor temperature faster. This results in crisper, better-focused views sooner.

Easy to mount

The cooling fan mounts directly onto the rear cell of the StarSense Explorer 10” telescope. Working with any USB power source (we suggest one of these) the fan cools the primary mirror so that you are ready to observe faster than ever. Once cooled, the fan can be disconnected to preserve power.

Powering the Cooling Fan

Any USB power source can be used to charge the fan. It requires just 5V of voltage (most competing models require 12V) so this is the economical choice for you and the environment.

Which telescopes is this compatible with?

The USB Cooling Fan is compatible with the Celestron StarSense Explorer 10-inch and 8-inch Dobsonian Telescopes. As well as many other third-party Dobsonians and Newtonian Reflectors that have a compatible fan mount. 

What mount does this fan require?

This USB Cooling Fan requires the telescope to have four M4 x 0.7 threaded holes in a square pattern with the holes spaced 71.5mm apart. This can be found on most Dobsonian and Newtonian Reflector Telescopes.
