"This is a great addition to the tripod and well worth it. This allows you to get as low to the ground as possible without having to turn your camera upside down as you have to with the longer centre column supplied with the tripod. It's so small and light in weight that I keep the original column on the tripod and carry the small one for the times I need it. I'd definitely recommend this item if you have the ST-124 or ST-125 and like shooting from a low position."
