The SVM-165 3-Section Carbon Fiber Monopod from Sirui is a lightweight carbon fibre monopod that features Sirui's Rapid System one-step height-adjustment technology. Simply rotate the twist lock to quickly extend or retract the three-section monopod to capture fast-moving action. The SVM-165 has a modular three-in-one design, incorporating the quick setup plate, the monopod column, and the folding tripod leg base.

Pull down the gray locking collar only once to loosen and release the modular head-mounting adapter plate. Even when using heavy equipment, the adapter is safe to rapidly insert without the need to search for alignment points. Both hands can be used to hold equipment when locking the adapter in, compared to other brand designs, which require holding a release lever. The plate features dual torpedo-style bubble levels and has a locking lever to prevent accidental release.

The folding-leg base also has a modular receiver for the head-mount adapter plate, creating a flexible mini tripod suitable for everything from low-level and macro photography to online vlogging. Each reversible leg has a rubber foot, and when folded up they expose a rubber monopod foot with a retractable steel spike for traction on any surface.
