Tamron 17-50mm F4 Di III VXD lens for Sony FE 

 Tamron have created a unique lens with a zoom range covering 17mm ultra-wide through to a standard 50mm. There are currently no lenses on the market that offer this kind of focal range, designed to cover a 36x24mm full-frame sensor - this is a world's first!

Whilst this lens is fantastic for a variety of photographic genres, such as landscapes, cityscapes and portraiture, it's also an ideal lens for run n'gun video shooting or documenting your travels!

Compact and lightweight with internal zoom

Weighing in at just 460g, the 17-50mm F4 is lightweight and at 114.4mm long, it is fairly small and compact Its size is well-balanced when attached to a Sony mirrorless camera body, such as the A7C II or A7 IV. The lens has a fixed barrel length and internal zoom mechanism, making it easy to keep the shot in focus when shooting stills or video, and easy to balance with a video rig or gimbal stabiliser. The highly portable 17-50mm F4 features moisture-resistant construction and fluorine coating on the front and rear lens surfaces for durability in natural environments.

Advanced optical performance

The optical construction of the 17-50mm F4 consists of 15 elements in 13 groups. The precise arrangement of special lens elements, including three LD, one GM and two hybrid aspherical lens elements, effectively suppresses chromatic and other aberrations.

Constant F4

This new Tamron 17-50mm features a constant f4 aperture throughout its entire focal length, this consistency makes it ideal for both still images and video shooting. Full frame resolution with clarity and sharpness, and full use of the rich bokeh provided by the wide F4 aperture, bring you closer to that perfect shot.

Durable construction

The 17-50mm F4 features a moisture-resistant construction and fluorine coating on the front and rear lens surfaces for durability in natural environments.
